We have been installing SmartJacks all over Idaho such as Bellevue, Blackfoot, Bloomington, Boise, Buhl, Burley, Caldwell, Cascade, Challis, Donnelly, Eagle, Emmett, Garden City, Idaho Falls, Kuna, Lewiston, McCall, Post Falls, Sandpoint, Stanley, and Twin Falls. The SmartJack™ Crawl Space Stabilizer is an adjustable supplemental support system used for sagging crawl spaces.
It not only provides supplemental support to your failing structure -- it can also often lift failing floor joists or beams, restoring them to their original position.
This crawl space support system is unique in that it's made with strong, corrosion-resistant, galvanized steel. Because your system will not develop rust, it will remain adjustable for years, should you need to perform future adjustments.

If your home's basement has experienced flooding problems, damp walls, and flooring, or has a constant smell of mold, odds are that you need basement waterproofing services. We have the skills and expertise to fix any wet basement, and we use our patented basement waterproofing system to fix any and all water problems once and for all. One of the more popular repair methods we have used in many other Pittsburgh homes is the installation of an interior French drainage system using our WaterGuard® Below-Floor Drain. Our French drainage system works by pumping out any water that enters your basement away using a sump pump before it can ever cause any damage.

After her husband passed four years ago, this homeowner wasn't sure how to address the issues with her crawl space. It was wet and musty, and needed attention. She asked if we could do anything to help.
Luckily, we were able to transform the whole crawl space.
First, we captured the water with our StarPipe full-perimeter drainage system. This drainage system stays laser straight and drains water directly into our state-of-the-art SmartSump, removing up to 2,240 gallons of water per hour. Then, we laid down our heavy, 20 mil thick CleanSpace liner, sealing it against all seams, edges and pipe penetrations. This antimicrobial protected liner includes a 25-year warranty against rips and tears, and separates the home from the earth for good. Lastly, we installed our SaniDry Sedona, the world's most powerful dehumidifier for its size. It not only removes up to 100 pints of water from the air per day, but it also keeps the climate below 55% relative humidity in the crawl space, fighting microbial growth and dust mites. With its MERV 8 filter, it even cleans the air and removes bad odors.
Now, this homeowner has tremendous peace of mind, knowing their crawl space will stay dry and healthy for years to come.
After living in their home for only a year, this family had noticed a lot of issues with the crawl space. There were wet spots, moss, and mold growing all over, causing musty smells and unhealthy air in the home. They requested that we take a look.
To fix it, we first needed to address the humidity. We put down our CleanSpace Light with drainage matting, which, combined, add two layers of protection against vapor and provide additional padding beneath the 10 mil liner with antimicrobial protection. Then, we installed our SaniDry Sedona, the world's most powerful dehumidifier for its size. It both dries and purifies the air, requiring the filter to be changed only once a year. Lastly, we supported a weakened crawl space beam with our SmartJack system, which immediately lifts sagging floors thanks to its adjustable custom-fit and structural engineering.
As a result, this home is more dry, healthy, and the floors are more stable than ever before!
After buying a new home, this homeowner needed to address its damp, musty smell. They tracked down the problem to the crawl space, which was dealing with mold, insects, and more. They knew they needed a vapor barrier, and knew they'd benefit from insulation as well, to help reflect heat back into the home and lower heating bills. So, we sent out a System Design Specialist for a free inspection, and, after accepting our proposal, we set an installation day to get to work!
On the big day, we first cleared the crawl space of loose wood and organic materials. Then, we removed rocks and leveled some of the uneven surfaces. From there, we carefully installed our CleanSpace© Light liner, which has UltraFresh© antimicrobial protection molded right into the material. We permanently held the liner in place with drilled-in fasteners and spikes. Then, all edges, seams, and pipe penetrations are sealed. From there, we installed our SilverGlo©, our crawl space wall insulation. It's a foam insulation with tiny graphite particles that give superior R-value per inch. Its radiant barrier reflects heat back into the crawl space for ultimate energy savings!
As a result, the homeowners now have a healtheir, less humid crawl space! If you'd like a FREE inspection and estimate of work, contact us today!
Since this homeowner noticed her home settling over 3 years ago, the sagging floors were starting to weigh down on their mind: What was really going to happen to her forever home? She's gotten professional advice before, but she didn't trust them. They tried floor leveler, or self-leveling concrete, but it didn't fix much in the long run.
Then, after talking to a System Design Specialist, she finally decided to address her foundation issues at their source, and accepted our proposal.
First, we found a critical part of her crawl space that lacked proper support. Second, we dug holes and put in engineered fill—which addresses problem soils, the root cause of home settlement. Third, we set the high-strength cast aluminum SmartJack® base into the fill, and then measure, cut and assemble steel SmartJack columns and adjustable top bracket components. Finally, we connected our two SmartJacks® to a supplemental beam, lifting the sloping, sagging floors.
The homeowner loved the results, but loved even more the peace of mind. Since our SmartJack® system addresses the root cause of home settlement, it was finally a permanent fix for an otherwise long-term problem.
A homeowner in Boise, ID reached out to Foundation & Crawl Space Repair of Idaho after discovering water seeping into her crawl space. The moisture had already caused damage to the walls and left standing water along the foundation—issues that can quickly lead to mold, mildew, increased energy bills, and even structural damage if left untreated.
Our expert inspector provided a free, thorough assessment and clearly explained the best options for resolving the problem. Once approved, our crew got to work right away.
We installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and air purification system to eliminate musty odors, prevent mold growth, and promote dry, healthy air throughout the crawl space and the home above. To protect against future flooding, we added our reliable SmartSump sump pump system.
To ensure long-term drainage and direct water safely away from the foundation, we also installed buried downspouts equipped with IceGuard® and LawnScape™ outlets.
Thanks to our comprehensive approach, this homeowner's crawl space is now dry, clean, and protected for years to come—another successful project and another happy homeowner in the books!
A homeowner in Boise, ID reached out to our team at Foundation & Crawl Space Repair with concerns regarding his home's foundation. The floors were unlevel and sagging in some areas. Foundation troubles are a serious issue that needs to be addressed, because they don't go away on their own - they only get worse and more expensive the longer they are left untreated. Good thing this homeowner contacted the local foundation repair experts!
One of our knowledgeable specialists went out to perform a free, no obligation quote and inspection. After he completed a thorough investigation, he sat down with the homeowner to educate him on what was happening to his foundation, why this occurs, and what types of solutions are available. After a plan of action was agreed upon, one of our expert crews got to work. To permanently stabilize this home's sinking floors, we installed SmartJacks throughout the crawl space. These galvanized steel piers immediately stopped settlement and even lifted the floors above to their original position. SmartJacks are the only floor-stabilizing solutions that addresses weak soils below the foundation, which is the root cause of most sagging floors! Making this the ultimate solution to eliminate worries of foundation failure for this home.
Another happy customer and another home protected thanks to Foundation & Crawl Space Repair of Idaho.

Priscilla G. lives near the river. She noticed a crack in the foundation which is leading to the settlement of the foundation, it’s also allowing water to seep into the crawl space. She is looking for a permanent solution. The home was built in 1998. She first noticed the crack 5 years ago and noticed over time that the crack is getting bigger. With the settlement of the foundation in one corner of her home she also grew concerned with the drywall falling off the walls.
The major cause of the foundation settling, and cracking could be the clay soil which shrinks during dry seasons. Our solution was to install Push Piers which lifts and stabilizes the foundation by reaching the depths of competent load-bearing strata. The weight of the home is then carefully transferred from the original unstable soils, through the piers, to the competent soil or bedrock. This ensures no further settlement will occur and provides the best opportunity to lift her home back to its level position. This is all achieved with minimal disruption to the home or landscaping.
Now Priscilla can rest assure that her foundation is stable while keeping her home whole.
Homeowners in Garden City discovered water and moisture had gotten into their crawlspace during the winter. They called Foundation Supportworks to help them fix their problem. Homeowner discovered standing water under the existing crawl space liner. We installed our Waterproofing System which included SmartPipe crawl space drainage, SmartSump Sump Pump and SaniDry Crawl Space Air. The home is now dry and protected from mold growth.
