Since 1991, Foundation and Crawl Space Repair of Idaho has provided quality solutions for stabilizing foundations and fixing damp, nasty crawl spaces. Today, we proudly install patented foundation, crawl space, and basement products, with trained professionals performing structural repair, waterproofing, and crawl space encapsulation services. Our teams take great pride in our recommendations of customized solutions and the meticulous level of service we deliver. With our offices in Meridian, Idaho, our crews serve Boise, Idaho Falls, Pocatello, and surrounding areas.

About Our Founder

Founder: Steve Burak

Steve Burak woke up every day and went to Foundation & Crawl Space Repair of Idaho to do what he loved most: building, planning, and ensuring his customers’ properties were safe and secure. Steve was in the construction business for over 50 years, building homes and undertaking remodeling projects. He lived in Emmett with his family, and in his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and flying airplanes. Steve surrendered his earthly body to rest in peace on June 16, 2023, after a courageous 14-month battle with cancer. Steve will forever be missed and honored at Foundation and Crawl Space Repair of Idaho, and his legacy continues with the new owner, Larry Janesky.

About Our Owner

Owner: Larry Janesky

Larry Janesky has spent his career in basement waterproofing, foundation repair, and related home service businesses. Starting in 1987, he has become a well-respected authority on moisture control, humidity, crawl space encapsulation (a term he coined), and home energy conservation. He is the owner of over 25 patented solutions. As founder of Basement Systems, Inc. and co-founder of Dr. Energy Saver, Inc., Total Basement Finishing Systems, Inc., and Supportworks, Inc., he has helped train and build networks of contractors across the United States and Canada. Larry provides guidance and directs the overall strategy for companies he owns or co-owns, training local leaders to oversee day-to-day operations and trusting teams to execute and deliver superior service to their customers. He is very proud of what Foundation and Crawl Space Repair of Idaho can do for homeowners who have problems with their basements, crawl spaces, and foundations. Larry is an Eagle Scout, father of three, and desert motorcycle racer.

Community Involvement

Foundation and Crawl Space Repair of Idaho is very active in our community. We donate 50% of projects completed for churches. We've helped the local Boy Scouts of America chapter by providing gutters for ice cream troughs for special events. We also rode bikes to raise awareness for child abuse at the Live for 175 fundraiser.
