Many homes in Idaho have moisture and groundwater problems in their crawl space. However, this home in Stanley had a stream of water running through their crawl space! Not only would it flood the home in hard rain, but it threatened the longevity of the home's health and integrity. To fix the problem, the homeowner called us. After meeting with our System Design Specialist, he accepted our proposal for a comprehensive waterproofing encapsulation system for the crawl space. From there, we set an installation day, and, when the day came, we got to work! 

To remove the stream of water, we needed to pump it away from the crawl space effectively. First, we installed several sump pumps to keep up with the necessary pumping power needed for the crawl space to remain dry. This included two TripleSafe© sump pumps and four SuperSumps©, both models including the most reliable sump pump systems available, while also including a WaterWatch alarm system and the patented SuperLiner© with Airtight Lid. The main difference is that our TripleSafe© also includes two more pumps for additional pumping power, as well as a DC operated pump so the crawl space can still maintain pumping power in the event of a power outage. Second, we installed a comprehensive drainage system by lining the perimeter of the crawl space with our StarPipe Drainage System. It is specifically engineered to draw in groundwater while filtering out sediment with its innovative star-shaped design. Then, we installed exterior discharge lines with IceGuard©, a discharge system that allows water to escape even if pipes freeze or become blocked for any reason. Together, these systems ensured that the water stream wouldn't flood the crawl space, pumping it away from the home's foundation even in times of hard rain. 

Now, we needed to protect the home. Permanently sealed around all edges, pipe penetrations and seams, we encapsulated the crawl space with our signature CleanSpace© liner, a heavy, 20 mil liner that permanently seals the home from the earth below. To enhance the encapsulation, we also installed drainage matting below the liner for added durability and drainage space, as well as our SaniDry Sedona to both dry and clean the air from the crawl space, removing any existing musty odors and kill off mold and dust mites.

We installed helical piers for the boardwalk to be installed at Stanley Lake Campground. We had to take special care to disturb the least amount of landscape as possible and installing piers in a creek with 3 ft of water. This project also had no soils to go off for depth or helix configuration which we installed some piers 50+ feet

In Mr. & Mrs. Hudson's home had an existing sump pump that was not keeping up with the water or keeping the crawlspace dry. Due to all the moisture, they were starting to see floor sagging as well. We installed smartpipe, and two supersumps in the crawlspace that was having major water concerns.
