Do you have an older home that one corner is starting to sag? A recent customer of ours in Vale, OR called us with this very issue. He wasn't sure if he could wait or if it would be better to have someone come out and take a look at it. He started asking around and doing some research and quickly realized it would be in his best interest to have someone come out and look at it. They gave us a call and told us all of their concerns and worries with the home starting to sag. We got them on the schedule to meet with Ryan our Design Specialist .
Once Ryan got out there he met wit the homeowners outside to go over their main concerns and worries. They then went into the home so Ryan could look at the walls and all the doors as well. Once he was done in the house he then went into the crawlspace to make sure it wasn't the supports in the crawlspace, once he realized it was not the supports in the crawlspace. The last thing he looked at was the foundation of the home, while he was in the crawlspace he looked at the foundation from in there as well. He then looked at the foundation from the outside and quickly realized the foundation was sinking. The whole time Ryan was doing all of this he was taking pictures of the inside of the home, the crawlspace, as well as the foundation. He was also taking measurements as well as making a hand drawing of the homes layouts and foundation.
Once he was done with all of that he went inside with the homeowners to write up a proposal. While he was writing up the proposal he was also explaining everything to the homeowners as well as showing a couple of videos. The videos help show the homeowners how everything is installed and the benefits in the long run. He then wrote up the proposal with our Helical Piers as well as price.
THE HELICAL PIER SYSTEM will permanently stabilize a home’s foundation and, in many cases, raise it back up. Engineered steel piers are “screwed” into the soil next to the foundation. Sections are added to reach appropriate depths and capacities, and the pier is then connected to the home’s foundation with steel brackets.
