Our CleanSpace© encapsulation system brought several solutions to the table for this moldy crawl space. First, we covered all the vents with CleanSpace© Vent Covers, which prevent outside air and moisture from getting into the crawl space. The vent covers do not rust or mold, never need paint, and are insulated. Second, we laid down drainage matting and the CleanSpace© heavy, 20 mil thick liner, which—combined—add durability, puncture resistance, and a thermal break while providing a space for water drainage. CleanSpace© liner is also manufactured in seven layers to optimize puncture resistance, flexibility, and brute tear resistance, and with an antimicrobial additive called "UltraFresh," molded right into the material. The homeowners loved the results for their once-moldy crawl space, and can finally use their crawl space for storage.
