Is there water coming into your basement through some cracks? A recent homeowner was experiencing water going into her basement through a crack that connected to the window. She wasn't sure what she should do so she did some research. She came across our website and decided to see if this was something we could help her with. Once she figured out we could help she gave us a call and we got her on the schedule to meet with our specialist Tim. Once Tim got to the home he met with the homeowner and they went over all of her concerns and answered any questions she might have. They then went inside to the basement to look at the water and the crack. Tim knew the best product of ours was going to be our FlexiSpan.
The challenge when it comes to installing a pump system in the home is always where to put it. To maximize the water collection, the representative will usually place the pump at a low point or one that is in a corner out of the way. At this Boise home, a basement storage closet did not provide much space but enough to house one of our sump pump units.
A home inspection left our client worried that a crack in the foundation was serious. The specialist confirmed that the crack went all the way through the footing and recommended that it be repaired immediately.
This customer was having concerns with her crawlspace having a musty smell and the vapor barrier not being in place. We came out and replaced her old barrier with our new water vapor barrier product to keep the smell out and her crawlspace nice and clean from pests. If this interests you, give us a call!
