Bacteria and moisture was entering the crawl and caused mold. A sump pump was installed.
A resident in Blackfoot, Idaho called Foundation and Crawl Space Repair to fix the wet basement. Our team arrived to the house for the assessment and recommended products that would permanently stop water from seeping into the basement. We installed a WaterGuard sub-floor piping system so there will be no worry about clogging from soils. The addition of the SuperSump, which has a capacity of 17 gallons and the WaterWatch alarm system will alert the homeowner of rising water levels. The LawnScape well was placed at end of discharge line and the use of IceGuard will prevent floods from a clogged or frozen discharge line. The EverLast Wall Restoration System we placed in the basement is an energy saving closed window solution. These products will keep the basement dry, lower heating bills and keep the owner happy and healthy!
A homeowner was starting to see signs of a sinking foundation inside their cabin. The cabin is located on the side of a hill, and contains a crawl space that is eight feet high. When they went down to examine the crawl space, they found that there were some support posts that had moved. These posts were not touching or supporting the weight above. We ended up installing smart jacks in the crawl space to lift the cabin back to it's original position.
