Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: A TripleSafe© Solution To A Wet Basement In Wilder, ID
For a wet basement, a sump pump is a necessary part of the waterproofing system to fix it. However, there are three common problems that occur: pump failure, power failure, and a single pump being unable to handle the volume in hard rain. The TripleSafe© assures protection from all these problems, which is why it's the world's most reliable pumping system. Its first pump, the Zoeller M-53 pump, does the pumping most of the time as a reliable, efficient 1/3 hp cast iron pump. The second pump, a Zoeller M-98 High Volume Pump, operates when Pump 1 fails or can't keep up with the heavy flow of water. When working together, these pumps can remove up to 6,200 gallons of water out of the basement. It's also a larger pump, giving the sump pump a 'turbo boost' whenever you need it. Pump 3 is the UltraSump battery back-up pumping system, which is a DC operated pump. When power fails, the UltraSump turns on, operating via battery power to remove water. Both the battery and automatic charging system are included!
To complete this installation, we added an exterior discharge line to our IceGuard, a sump pump discharge system that allows water to escape even if pipes freeze or become blocked for any reason. Now, no matter what season, the homeowners can rely on their TripleSafe© to keep their basement nice and dry!
