Water Heater Flood Protection

FloodRing® Water Heater Flood Protection System in the Greater Boise Area

We provide protection against failing, leaking water heaters in your basement

A smart solution. The FloodRing® is a simple system that can end up saving you a lot of money.

One of the most common causes of household flooding is a problem with the water heater. Unfortunately, this can be a difficult problem to identify due to the fact that the outside of the water heater will usually look fine even when there is a significant problem on the interior.

When water heaters do rupture or burst, they can pour out gallons of water in very little time. At Foundation and Crawl Space Repair of Idaho, we provide a quality water heater flood protection system that includes an early warning alarm, ensuring your home is protected.

If you want to protect your basement from a burst water heater, call us today at 1-208-213-7644 or click below to get started. We offer free estimates on all our work in Boise, Spokane, Meridian and throughout the surrounding areas in Idaho and Washington!

How our system protects your basement

The #1 claim that insurance companies pay out on homeowners' policies is water damage. Of these claims, damage related to water heaters is especially common. During the life of your home, your water heater will need to be replaced numerous times, with an average system lasting as little as seven years.

Since water heaters automatically refill themselves, a leak will be nonstop until you repair or replace it. In some scenarios, we've seen basements with feet of water due to a failed water heater system! The FloodRing® is the answer for protecting your home from potential floods and leaks from a failing water heater. The FloodRing® works to protect your home in several ways:

• 4-inch high PVC ring that is sealed to your basement floor around the water tank
• The ring can be connected to a floor drainage system, draining the water directly to your sump pump
• WaterWatch® Floor Alarm is able to detect flooding water and sound off, giving you a warning right away
• System installs quickly and provides important protection for your home

Protect your Idaho and Washington home from water heater leaks

Don't take any chances with your water heater having a problem and causing significant damage in your home. Installing a FloodRing® will ensure that you are notified if there is any leak in your water heater, keeping you protected.
