A wet crawl space was a problem for this homeowner. Moisture in a crawl space is never a good thing. It can lead to big problems down the road such as mold or even rot. We completely transformed this crawl space by installing a CleanSpace Encapsulation System! This crawl space is now dry and usable! 

This homeowner called with concerns about the crawl space sealant deteriorating. They didn't think anything had been done since it was originally built in 1983 and when they ran the sprinkler system and saturated the ground, the water would bubble up in the crawlspace causing the insulation to fall apart and the 1st floor of the home to be consistently cooler than the rest of the home.

Our solution is to encapsulate and reinsulate using polystrene foam! Separating the earth from your home is important for many reasons but water prevention is a big one. Negative effects of a wet or damp crawl space can include:

- Sticking doors and windows

- Condensation/rotting/mold in your attic

- Frost or condensation and mold on the inside of windows in cool weather
