Mr. Lind called because he had a concrete window well that was cracked and caving into the basement. So we excavated the soil behind the wall so we could get a better idea of what we were working with. The concrete wall was pushed off the footing by 5 1/2 inches. So we installed our Geo-Lock wall anchors, and we were able to straighten the wall and secure it from any further movement. Mr. Lind was very pleased that we could get the wall back to being straight.
Notice your floors squeaking or items on the counter that move as you walk across the flooring? We can help! Here we installed Smart Jacks to provide better support under the flooring in the crawlspace. Give us a call if you are experiencing anything similar to this!
Floor stabilization repair done on a home that had sagging floors and a broken joist!!
This homeowner's block wall was leaking and bowing inward. To first prevent wall failure, we installed our PowerBrace system, which are custom-fit to the basement's height and tightly secured around the wall with brackets that are anchored to the basement floor below and first-floor framing above. To capture water, we installed our WaterGuard system along the basement perimeter, a below-grade drainage system that — when combined with the CleanSpace Wall System and a sump pump sytem — drains wall seepage and groundwater away from the foundation.
Have you noticed your walls are starting to bow? A recent customer of ours had called us with some concerns of their basement cinder block wall was starting to bow. He wasn't sure if they should get someone out to look at it right then or if they could wait. They decided to do some research, they then came across our website. They started to look through our website and realized it would be best to get someone to come out and look at it. They then called us with their concerns and we got them on the schedule as fast as we could due to the bowing causing cracks that could lead to water entering the basement.
